About the Role

This blended role encompasses various administrative tasks, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, parts ordering, health and safety, work order creation, and invoicing. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveries.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Assist with health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Generate invoices and process payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Create work orders as required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Carries out additional tasks or projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with inventory management software is an asset
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures is advantageous
