About the Role

Convene Hospitality Group (CHG) operates a global portfolio of lifestyle brands focused on creating places and experiences that bring people together. We are currently seeking a Back of House Service Technician to join our team at our Convene 100 Stockton location in San Francisco. Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all food service department areas, utensils, and equipment in a sanitized and orderly condition.
• Care for and clean kitchen equipment, dish room, and pot washing areas.
• Operate and maintain dish room equipment according to sanitary standards.
• Clean up spills in the kitchen, dining area, and work area immediately.
• Wash pots, pans, trays, and other cooking and serving equipment.
• Wash and peel vegetables and fruits.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
• Maintain and refresh restrooms.
• Follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Remove trash, separate into designated containers, and maintain clean floors.
• Steam cleanse and/or scrub out trash and garbage cans.
• Complete shift work in a timely and thorough manner.
• Inform chef and manager when supplies are low.
• Assist other functions as needed.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils within the work area.
• Handle and ensure all deliveries are properly stored according to health regulations.
• Represent the company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner.
• Greet customers courteously.
• Relay relevant comments from customers directly to supervisors.
• Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience preferred.
• Flexible and long hours are sometimes required.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.

• $28 per hour
• Eligible for Convene's annual incentive performance bonus plan.
