About the Role
Pantheon Ventures, a $90B multi-strategy investment firm, is seeking an Associate, Fund Finance for its International Private Wealth strategy. The candidate will have meaningful participation across a wide range of job functions supporting the investment platform and play a key role in the ongoing launching of new funds and products.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Private Wealth Operations team to provide financial and operational support.
- Build, develop and maintain good working relationships between teams and clients/suppliers.
- Provide financial and operational support for the set-up of new structures or funds.
- Review fund accounting for International Private Wealth products, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review and approve fund expenses, management/performance fees.
- Review and approve fund reporting and regulatory reporting.
- Oversee third-party fund administration providers, transfer agency, and other service providers.
- Assist with external audits for Private Wealth products.
- Review and approve capital events such as calls, distributions and equalisations.
- Ensure adherence to control and risk frameworks and policies, and refine procedures.
- Complete other ad-hoc projects and tasks.
- Support the Investor Relations team.
- Provide transaction support for acquisitions and creation of new entities.
- Attend investment team meetings to understand the deal pipeline and operational requirements.
- Attend valuation meetings to understand valuation methodologies.
- Assist with fund launches, sales, and extensions.
Requirements
- Recognised accounting qualification, with strong accounting skills.
- Broad knowledge of Private Equity, Infrastructure and/or Multi-Strategies, semi-liquid products such as SICAV’s and their servicing processes.
- Customer focused, with a passion for quality and efficiency.
- A strong risk and control mindset.
- Experience in designing, monitoring and understanding internal controls frameworks.
- Ability to lay out processes, controls and procedures in simple, clear formats.
- Ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
- Experience in process change and improvement projects.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Proficient Excel skills.
- Comfortable acting proactively and always with integrity.
