About the Role
As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end recruiting for technical, engineering, and commercial positions. Your focus will be on operational recruiting (approx. 80%), while also actively contributing to strategic areas such as employer branding, process optimization, and the advancement of our talent acquisition function (approx. 20%). You will collaborate closely with hiring managers, the People Team, and the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to ensure sustainable team growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire recruiting process from needs analysis and job posting to active sourcing, interview coordination, candidate selection, and contract offer.
- Simultaneously manage multiple vacancies in a dynamic hypergrowth phase.
- Recruit talent in Aerospace, Software, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and other technical disciplines, as well as commercial roles.
- Conduct interviews and act as a competent sparring partner for departments throughout the selection process, advising on recruiting best practices, market trends, and hiring decisions.
- Develop creative and sustainable sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions and find innovative ways to engage passive candidates.
- Identify and attract top talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and other relevant platforms and networks.
- Build long-term talent pools and maintain relationships with potential candidates.
- Ensure a professional, transparent, and appreciative candidate experience from initial contact to contract signing.
- Ensure prompt communication and efficient recruiting processes.
- Analyze recruiting metrics and identify areas for optimization.
- Collaborate with Marketing and People & Culture to continuously develop the employer brand.
- Support recruiting events, university collaborations, meetups, company tours, and networking events.
- Contribute ideas to increase employer visibility.
- Support Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives.
Requirements
- Approximately 3-6 years of experience in end-to-end recruiting, preferably in-house; agency experience is also welcome.
- Experience in successfully filling technical or engineering positions, ideally in deep-tech or aerospace industries, as well as commercial roles.
- Proficiency in active sourcing and finding candidates for challenging niche profiles.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern recruiting tools.
- Familiarity with employer branding, recruiting marketing, and data-driven recruiting.
- Confident communication with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
- Ability to constructively question existing processes and find pragmatic solutions.
- Excellent German and English language skills.
- Ability to prioritize, advise hiring managers, and conduct critical discussions respectfully.
- Proactive approach to challenges and comfort in a dynamic scale-up environment.
