About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Teach foundational knowledge in commercial and health economics, including the German healthcare system, commercial calculations, business processes, medical terminology, and data protection.
  • Cover HR specialization in healthcare, including collective bargaining agreements (TVöD-K, AVR), payroll, personnel recruitment, labor law, and occupational health management.
  • Facilitate active knowledge transfer in a virtual classroom with high interaction.
  • Engage participants through case studies and practical scenarios from clinical and practice settings.
  • Provide individual learning support and feedback to a diverse group of participants.
  • Collaborate closely with educational support staff and course managers.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or health economics vocational training (e.g., Healthcare Business Administrator) or a relevant degree (Health Economics, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Public Health, etc.).
  • Alternatively, several years of professional experience in HR within a clinic, church organization, or nursing facility with in-depth knowledge of collective agreements and remuneration.
  • Proficient in TVöD-K and/or AVR (Caritas or Diakonie) and knowledgeable in payroll processing within the healthcare sector.
  • Ideally, IHK instructor qualification (AdA / AEVO) or experience with IHK certificate courses.
  • Minimum of three years of practical experience in a clinic, medical center, or administrative setting, preferably with an HR focus.
  • Knowledge of the employer landscape in the healthcare sector (public, church, and private providers).
  • Several years of experience in adult education, ideally in support programs (SGB II/III) or IHK courses.
  • Confident in managing diverse groups, including career changers, returners, individuals with migration backgrounds, and international educational backgrounds.
  • Proficient in virtual classroom environments (Zoom, MS Teams, or similar) and enthusiastic about digitally supported knowledge transfer.
  • Empathetic and respectful interaction with participants in various life situations.
  • Reliable and structured work approach with a willingness to contribute to curriculum development.
  • Native-level or C1-level German language skills.
