About the Role
As a Senior IT/OT Engineer, you will perform all aspects of process automation network engineering and integration, including design, documentation, implementation, testing, and startup. You will serve as a key member of a diverse team developing solutions for complex client challenges in a GMP manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead or contribute to project teams responsible for the design, configuration, and testing of IT/OT networks in GMP environments.
- Provide proactive solutions to project leadership and customers with a focus on satisfaction and advanced technology.
- Adapt to flexible schedules and travel to client facilities for system design, development, and startup.
- Embody company core values while prioritizing the success of the firm, clients, and associate development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of IT/OT networking experience in industry.
- Experience building and validating networks for GMP use is strongly preferred.
- BS in Engineering.
- Detail-oriented with strong technical aptitude and a desire to learn new technologies.
- Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards, design criteria, and codes for Instrumentation and Controls.
- Knowledge of IT/OT network security and operations.
- Ability to design, deploy, and maintain process control system networks including PLC, HMI, SCADA, thin clients, and networked I/O.
- Expertise in designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network architectures using virtual and physical devices.
- Understanding of control system network topology.
- Experience with high-reliability networking, redundancy strategies, and resilient topologies.
- Knowledge of network equipment specification, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of control panel design, check-out, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
