About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to be the second design hire on our UK team. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the design function's direction in our highest-growth market, with significant ownership and a broad scope. You will join our new UK Product and Engineering team to design for our UK-focused product squad, contributing to discovery, experimentation, and iterative product development for our award-winning app and internal tools. Your foundational work will create transformative patient experiences that are simple, evidence-led, and deliver tangible health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Craft end-to-end design work for the UK product team, from research to UI, collaborating with the Senior Product Manager and Engineering Manager.
- Facilitate customer research, including prototype testing, to improve usability and iterate on features using patient insights.
- Contribute to the product vision for the UK product team by envisioning the future of the patient experience and participating in the discovery process.
- Champion best design practices and ways of working, promoting design within the UK business and collaborating with international design and product teams.
Requirements
- Product Design Experience (4+ years) in fast-paced, product-led environments.
- Experience owning end-to-end design workflows, creating design systems, and shipping digital experiences.
- Experience planning and conducting user interviews, moderating testing sessions, and facilitating workshops.
- Experience creating various fidelity prototypes to test assumptions and refine solutions.
- Experience validating design decisions using competitive analysis, user research, and product data.
- Experience designing with clear business and patient outcomes in mind.
- Experience driving the design process from discovery to delivery, balancing user needs with business objectives.
- A patient-first mindset, ensuring decisions balance business growth with clinical excellence and care.
- A sharp eye for detail and pride in execution, balancing aesthetic quality with usability.
- Systems thinking approach to design holistic solutions and scalable components.
- Thrive in cross-functional environments, effectively communicating design decisions and incorporating feedback.
