About the Role
Play a key role in assessing TSEG’s compliance with financial crime regulatory requirements, internal policies and risk management frameworks, and the effectiveness of the financial crime control environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver risk-based assurance reviews across technology risk domains, including cyber security, IT controls, change management, and technology resilience.
- Assess the design and effectiveness of technology controls against regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry frameworks.
- Prepare and present clear assurance reports, findings, and recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
- Provide independent review and challenge on technology risks, control frameworks, and major technology change initiatives.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, influence risk management outcomes, and represent Risk Assurance in governance and project forums.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members while driving continuous improvement through data analytics, innovation, and best-practice assurance methodologies.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in assurance, risk, compliance, technology risk, or IT audit within a complex and highly regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of technology risk and cyber security frameworks, including NIST, ISO 27001, Essential Eight, PCI DSS, and risk management frameworks.
- Proven ability to assess complex technology risks, solve problems, and translate technical issues into meaningful business impacts.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and drive outcomes across the organisation.
- Advanced analytical capabilities, including the use of data analytics tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, SQL) to generate insights and support assurance activities.
