About the Role
This role plays a key part in assessing The Star Entertainment Group’s compliance with financial crime regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management frameworks, ensuring the effectiveness of the financial crime control environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of Line 2 assurance and quality assurance reviews across financial crime risk management activities.
- Assess the effectiveness of financial crime controls and compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Utilize data analytics and testing techniques to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for control enhancement.
- Prepare meaningful reports and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Develop strong stakeholder relationships to promote awareness of financial crime obligations and control expectations.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of assurance methodologies, reporting, and analytics capability.
Requirements
- Experience in assurance, compliance, risk management, or a related control function.
- Strong risk mindset with an understanding of risk and control frameworks.
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving and investigation skills.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
