About the Role
The Real Estate Services (RES) team provides a range of services including real estate transactions, workplace strategies, facilities management, and capital project management. This role will drive the North America customer experience strategy forward through innovation and problem-solving, requiring a passion for the customer journey, motivation, intellectual curiosity, analytical skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Responsibilities
- Develop real estate leasing/disposition strategies and implementation plans to manage business growth, improve workplace quality, drive cost savings, and optimize the real estate portfolio in Mastercard's New York City office.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders across multiple geographies to drive portfolio performance and operational excellence.
- Develop and nurture relationships with local leaders and business units to implement workplace management policies, processes, and best practices aligned with global service standards.
- Collaborate with RES global services providers including facilities management, engineering, food services, and mail services to achieve set goals and ensure optimal performance of onsite teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for landlord and property management relationships, upholding local law and building standards in day-to-day building operations.
- Collaborate with Capital Projects teams to support the execution of high-visibility workplace initiatives, ensuring timely stakeholder communications and regular project updates.
- Partner cross-functionally with Workplace Experience, Communications, Meeting & Travel Services, Physical Security, and Technology teams to ensure alignment on Real Estate Services initiatives.
- Represent and advocate for the RES function in all regional leadership meetings.
- Oversee capacity and space planning competencies to establish clear business needs.
- Partner with the Environmental Sustainability team to ensure green lease, design, and building standards are fully integrated across the intended portfolio.
Requirements
- Must be fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Thorough understanding of capacity planning, facilities management, project, and transaction management principles/concepts.
- Proven understanding and management experience within North America on a regional multi-office basis.
- Effective communicator comfortable engaging all levels of management.
- Ability to meaningfully collaborate with executive leadership to present business cases, financials, and design concepts effectively.
- Strong understanding of outsourcing in corporate real estate and supplier partner management concepts, with special emphasis on adoption of global outsourcing models.
- Strong people skills, with proven ability to build rapport with internal/external stakeholders to educate and guide them through strategic RES standards and initiatives.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and ability to provide thought leadership.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional/multi-cultural teams.
- Regional travel as needed.

Salary/Compensations
- $131,000 - $216,000 USD
