About the Role
Alstom is seeking a full-time, onsite Project Coordinator in Jamaica, NY, US to ensure the successful execution of projects, driving efficiency and meeting critical deadlines. You will work closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams, monitor project progress, and ensure effective communication between stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Monitor project progress and maintain detailed documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Support the preparation of project reports and presentations.
- Facilitate meetings and ensure action items are tracked and completed.
- Promote a culture of resilience, adaptability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Manage administrative tasks related to project coordination.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience or understanding of project management principles and processes.
- Knowledge of scheduling tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Familiarity with cross-functional team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Resilience and adaptability to navigate challenges and drive results.
