Due to the growth of our AC substation/FACTS division, we are currently seeking a Project Manager for Installation Activities - Substations (all genders) for the "Construction & Commissioning" department to contribute to this energy transition together.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the planning and execution of installation activities in our 110/400 kV substation projects and FACTS projects.
Accompany the project regarding installation planning and execution in all phases – from the engineering phase to customer handover.
As the person responsible for installation planning and its execution, significantly contribute to ensuring that work in the substation is carried out safely, with high quality, on time, and economically.
Point of contact for all matters concerning installation for GIS and AIS substation projects as well as FACTS plants.
Planning of all work in compliance with applicable occupational health, environmental, and safety regulations, and participation in the creation of work and safety instructions.
Planning, preparation, and coordination of installation work in agreement with other departments, project management, and our customers.
Selection, commissioning, and coordination of installation partners and subcontractors together with our purchasing department, including evaluation of offers, performance coordination, and schedule and capacity planning.
Creation of quality documentation, e.g., ITPs & checklists, for the execution of installation work.
Creation of installation, schedule, and resource plans.
Coordination of site personnel mobilization together with internal departments and subcontractors, as well as creation of site setup plans.
Monitoring of quality, costs, and deadlines during project execution and corresponding reporting to project management.
Identification and management of risks and opportunities related to installation activities.

Requirements

Completed training in electrical engineering with at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally further training as a technician/master.
Demonstrable experience as an installation planner in substation projects or comparable projects in energy generation.
Strong awareness of health and safety (EHS) in accordance with international standards; the ability to identify and stop unsafe work is required.
Knowledge of electrical engineering standards (e.g., VDE, DUV).
Distinct interpersonal communication and leadership skills, good organizational skills, and the ability for clear reporting.
Willingness to travel within Germany (travel time approx. 20%).
