About the Role
GE Grid GSI is looking for a working student to assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness. This role involves conducting data analysis, designing data repositories, and developing data visualizations to support business resource needs and improve data management processes.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources.
- Conduct data analysis to compare current business resource needs with business capabilities.
- Design, develop, and implement architecture and data repositories for models to analyze and compare data sets.
- Design, develop, and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency of data management.
- Assist with ad-hoc data analysis projects and tasks.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited German university with a focus on Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, IT, or similar.
- Knowledge of data visualization techniques.
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze data sets.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Fluent in English, spoken and in writing.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
