About the Role

AIM is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our mission-driven organization. This role is responsible for the maintenance of grounds, buildings, and equipment across multiple agency locations, ensuring the health and safety of all who utilize AIM properties.

Responsibilities

• Performs typical maintenance to support multi-agency locations.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, following safety regulations.
• Follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains outside grounds, including parking lot, lawn equipment, gutters, landscaping, snow removal, and salting walks.
• Performs laborer work, including demolition and cleanup at sites as needed.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

• Must comply with proper safety policies and procedures.
• Must be able to determine the neatness, accuracy, and thoroughness of assigned work.
• Must respond to emergencies appropriately.
• Must have an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift more than 50 pounds, and spend long periods walking, standing, and bending.
• Must be able to organize and use time appropriately with minimal supervision.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have 2+ years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
