About the Role
Responsible for the safety and security of students, staff, and facilities at Iroquois Job Corps, a residential career training program for young people.
Responsibilities
- Patrolling assigned areas on campus
- Performing building security and safety checks
- Conducting preliminary investigations (training provided)
- Enforcing Center rules and regulations
- Assisting staff and students in addressing issues, including de-escalation of behavior
- Providing escort services as needed
- Monitoring activities via camera surveillance systems
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Proficiency in computer software
- Six months of experience in a security or security-related field
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Must be available Holidays and Weekends
