About the Role
The Enterprise Supply Management (ESM) Source-to-Pay (P2P) Operations Analyst acts as the main operational link between business stakeholders, Procurement (including Accounts Payable), and suppliers. This role supports the entire procurement lifecycle by handling purchase requests, processing simple transactions, assisting with supplier onboarding, resolving invoice issues, and ensuring adherence to procurement and payment processes. The analyst aims to enhance the stakeholder and supplier experience by streamlining processes, speeding up transactions, invoicing, and payments, resolving operational problems, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for procurement requests and requisitions in Europe.
- Review and process low-risk, low-cost procurement requests and purchases independently.
- Escalate higher-risk or more complex sourcing activities to Procurement colleagues.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide procurement guidance.
- Improve the quality and completeness of purchase requests.
- Support supplier onboarding and maintenance activities.
- Ensure supplier documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant.
- Serve as the primary support contact for invoice and payment inquiries during European business hours.
- Facilitate timely issue resolution between business stakeholders, suppliers, and Accounts Payable.
- Investigate invoice discrepancies, payment delays, and process exceptions.
- Coordinate across teams to identify root causes and drive resolution.
- Educate stakeholders on invoice submission, PO requirements, and payment procedures.
- Monitor and track outstanding invoice issues and escalations.
- Perform reviews of procurement and payment-related transactions for accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness.
- Identify operational risks, trends, and recurring issues.
- Recommend improvements to reduce manual effort and process inefficiencies.
- Support testing and implementation of process and system enhancements.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement, requisition, supplier, invoice, and payment data.
- Generate regular reports on operational performance.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, suppliers, and ESM/Procurement colleagues.
- Communicate procurement and payment standards clearly and practically.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on process requirements and best practices.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience in Procurement, Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, Supplier Management, or related operational functions.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience working within ERP, procurement, invoicing, or financial systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
