About the Role

Impact Fire Services is seeking to hire a Fire Protection Systems Installer to oversee the installation of fire protection systems for new and existing projects across Industrial, Commercial, and Residential sectors. This role requires a strong understanding of NFPA codes, design and installation methods, hydraulic calculations, and material lists for fire sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Fire Protection Systems installation for all types of new and existing projects.
  • Understand design & Layout of Fire Sprinkler Systems
  • Perform Hydraulic Calculations
  • Conduct Field Surveying
  • Understand listing of system piping for fabrication
  • Coordinate installation between trades
  • Manage costs and understand budgets
  • Oversee installation labor on assigned projects

Requirements

  • Fire sprinkler experience
  • General mechanical knowledge
  • Experience in Fire Protection Installation or Design
  • Demonstrated competency in verbal and written business communication skills.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company guidelines
  • Able to complete documentation and administrative duties as necessary; proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office
  • Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
  • MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
