About the Role
Seeking a Senior Investment Specialist / Portfolio Manager to analyze and recommend structured finance investments across the capital structure, from Investment Grade debt to Unrated instruments.
Responsibilities
- Model and evaluate investment opportunities in bespoke transactions across CMBS, Speciality Finance, CLOs, RMBS, etc.
- Present findings to assist senior team members in making investment decisions.
- Assist senior team members with ad hoc tasks.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Investment Committee.
- Support other investment opportunities and management activities for the Secured Finance Group.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience at an asset management company or bank.
- Strong investment analysis experience with a background in structured credit.
- Strong interest in Financial Markets.
- Experience in Excel Modelling / VBA.
- Familiar with Bloomberg / Intex.
- Flexible and comfortable with changing priorities.
- Execution and detail-oriented while working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Able to work independently and take direction.
- Highly quantitative with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in technology and how AI can support internal processes and client outcomes.
