About the Role
The Analytics Engineering team provides Fin's business with accurate and up-to-date data tables essential for operational and strategic decisions. This team bridges the gap between Analyst and Data Infrastructure teams, ensuring efficient data modeling and high-quality data assets.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the data infrastructure engineering team to understand, evolve, and maintain the data warehouse and its ELT.
- Build a best-in-class data platform to drive critical business decisions.
- Partner with internal analyst teams to understand their questions and guide them to the right answers.
- Simplify and improve data collection and reporting processes to automate manual workflows.
- Reconcile data issues and alerts between systems, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working as an Analytics Engineer.
- Advanced SQL proficiency, including well-architected data models, optimized query performance, and clearly documented code.
- Familiarity with the modern data stack.
- Growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent judgment and sharp business and product instincts.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor technical explanations to various audiences.
