About the Role
We are seeking a Software Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain our software products through the development of web applications and websites that support REDCOM's new vertical product capability. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, manage, maintain and support REDCOM software products
- Works individually or within a team to implement specific features and resolve customer issues
- Acquire an expert level understanding of technologies and protocols relevant to REDCOM products
- Complete special projects and perform other duties as necessary.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required. Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one (sponsorship available).
- Development of websites and web applications as well as maintaining existing code.
- Front-end and back-end development, including seamless integration of front- to back-end functionality.
- Model-View Controller (MVC) and modern web frameworks.
- PHP expertise
- Effective use of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS.
- SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Development of APIs (REST/JSON)
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the software development field
- BS or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Telecommunications and Chat protocols; including SIP, XMPP
- IP Networking technologies and protocols
- Bootstrap
- CodeIgniter
- Vue.js
- Testing tools, including Selenium and PHPUnit
- FreeBSD, Linux or other current Unix environments
- GIT
- Apache
- Security and encryption
- CMFF / Modular Systems: Familiarity with or ability to quickly ramp up on CMOSS Mounted Form Factor (CMFF), open architecture standards, and C5ISR/EW capabilities is highly desired.
