About the Role

We are seeking a SCADA Engineer to lead the evolution of our SCADA, remote access, and data systems, employing leading and emerging technologies to ensure ITM's electrolyzer offering is coupled with a comprehensive plant monitoring and data acquisition package.

Responsibilities

• Define ITM's future data acquisition and analysis strategy, scalable to GW of connected plants.
• Develop ITM's SCADA system to keep pace with company growth and the number of connected plants.
• Design and maintain hardware/software solutions and configurations for remote measurement.
• Create control system documentation according to company standards.
• Implement future system upgrades.
• Act as a subject matter expert for remote access technology and cybersecurity.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Process Engineering.
• Relevant professional experience in the petrochemical, nuclear, energy, or process industry.
• Experience in capturing system requirements and defining functional specifications.
• Experience in developing industrial SCADA systems, including graphics/dashboards/screens, alarm management systems, server setup and management, VB script creation, user management, and interfacing with other systems.
• Experience in automating data/trend analysis.
• Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and teamwork ability.
• A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to engage in all aspects of the project lifecycle.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to the UK and abroad.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English.
