About the Role

This role involves performing operational duties within a multidisciplinary team, processing jobs using industry-standard equipment and an internal business system. Responsibilities include mastering, encoding, transcoding, packaging platform metadata, and manipulating files to meet client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Conforming content and packaging metadata adhering to platform specifications (Amazon Global, iTunes, Netflix etc.)
• Video Edit/prep material conforming to broadcast guidelines.
• Understanding of digital media workflows including tools such as Adobe Suite, DaVinci, Resolve, Clipster, Cortex.
• Understanding of subtitling specifications and formats, audio samples, rates, video frame rates, SMPTE timecode, and traditional multichannel audio configurations (2.0, 5.1, 7.1).
• Video and audio pre-qualifications, media prep, QCs, and deliverables.
• Abide by security policies and protect information assets.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an operational role.
• Understanding of video compression and the various codecs used by broadcasters and VOD platforms.
• Passionate about customer experience and customer service excellence.
• Hands-on experience with digital media workflows is required.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload.
• Capability to collaborate with and assist other team members.
• Problem solver with a creative and innovative approach.
