About the Role

Waltham Forest's Business Intelligence service seeks a Performance Analyst to enhance data and analytics utilization for decision-making, improvement, and priority achievement. This role focuses on children's social care, producing data and analytics solutions like strategic assessments, performance reports, and statutory data returns to ensure timely and robust information for decision-making, resource targeting, and risk management.

Responsibilities

Identifying user needs and translating them into data and analytics requirements.
Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders, partners, and colleagues.
Supporting and influencing within the team to achieve agreed priorities.
Identifying, assessing, analyzing, and mapping appropriate data for new analytics products.

Requirements

Proven experience in an analytical role.
Experience with analytics or business intelligence tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL).
Strong communication skills and experience presenting analysis to senior audiences.
Tenacity and ambition to drive innovation and improvement in data utilization.
Ability to collaborate and build effective relationships across the organization and with partner agencies.
