About the Role

As a Mobile Patrol Officer, you will play a key role in protecting people, property and assets across a portfolio of client sites within your designated area. Working independently and as part of a wider team, you will carry out a range of mobile security duties including patrols, alarm responses, lock and unlock services, vacant property inspections and escort duties, ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times. We are looking for a professional and reliable Mobile Patrol Officer with excellent customer service skills and a proactive approach to security.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a range of mobile security services including locks, unlocks, internal and external patrols, alarm responses, vacant property inspections and escort services
  • Follow instructions from Team Leaders and collaborate effectively with team members
  • Follow site assignment instructions and conduct dynamic risk assessments upon arrival at client sites
  • Follow proper escalation processes for incidents, break-ins, health and safety issues and road traffic accidents
  • Secure company assets, including PDA's and ensure dashcams are fully functional and used throughout the shift
  • Escalate incidents, risks, breakdowns and RTAs to the Team Leader, reporting RTAs in line with company policy
  • Maintain a professional, polite and helpful attitude towards clients, their staff and Securitas colleagues at all times

Requirements

  • A valid SIA licence
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends
  • The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
  • Willing to work on own and has a keen eye for Security
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
