About the Role
This role blends strategic business and business development leadership with executive-level coordination, driving initiatives that create meaningful and sustainable business impact to shape LSEG’s strategic growth in Japan.
Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Site Representative Japan on Japan specific strategic activities.
- Manage the Japan ExCo forums, alongside multiple workstreams within the Japan LSEG site to enhance the ONE LSEG value proposition.
- Manage strategic reputational external community activities such as customer communities, EDI, UK related forums.
- Ensure smooth running of the ecosystem/multiple workstreams for select priority accounts.
- Explore opportunities within the AI ecosystem for non-sales / partner accounts.
- Collaborate with LSEG Executive Sponsors and across Sales & Account Management (SAM), Markets and Product teams to set long term vision statements.
- Connect externally on shared joint business plans to ensure structured engagement across multiple workstreams.
- Engage with client strategy POCs and SAM, Markets and Product teams as a strategic support lever when necessary, on opportunity identification or supporting deal negotiations.
- Explore new strategic business opportunities through community work and handover to relevant teams once opportunity realization is matured.
Requirements
- Proven ability to build and manage critical business relationships.
- Experience in developing joint business plans and driving growth initiatives.
- Experience supporting senior leadership or acting in a chief-of-staff capacity.
- Experience managing workstreams and governance forums.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across internal teams and with external partners.
- Skilled in using data and insights to inform decisions, set priorities, and measure outcomes.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and inclusively, both in writing and verbally, in English and Japanese.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with agility and a long-term focus.
- Demonstrated understanding of the value of diverse perspectives and inclusive practices in business development.
