About the Role
Soccer Stars is seeking former athletes to inspire the next generation as Youth Soccer Coaches. Utilize your sports passion to help children build confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of being active. We are the leading youth sports organization serving Long Island and Eastern Queens, offering engaging programs for children ages 12 months to 13 years.
Responsibilities
- Arrive prepared and on time for every class
- Lead fun, high-energy soccer sessions for children of all skill levels
- Encourage effort, teamwork, and confidence through positive coaching
- Create a welcoming, non-competitive environment where children enjoy learning
- Adapt instruction to meet the needs of each child
- Continue developing your coaching skills through ongoing training and feedback
- Follow the Soccer Stars Coaching Manual and curriculum
Requirements
- Dependable, energetic individuals who enjoy mentoring children and leading by example
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal transportation
- Willingness to travel to schools, parks, and community locations throughout Long Island
- Ability to successfully complete a background check
