About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of the Deaf (TOD) to work within an enthusiastic and dynamic team. You will be joining the central, peripatetic, Sensory Teachers Team working with children and young people from birth to 25 years’ old, in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities

  • Visiting children/young people in their homes and settings.
  • Completing administrative elements of the role.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status is essential.
  • Mandatory Qualification for Teachers of Deaf Children (TODs) is essential.
  • Experience of peripatetic work is desirable.
  • Must pass a full, Enhanced DBS check.

Skills

  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
