About the Role
Soccer Stars is seeking enthusiastic educators and childcare professionals to lead engaging soccer classes for children. This role focuses on developing children's confidence, teamwork, and a love for physical activity through movement and play, while also offering opportunities to expand experience with multisport and martial arts programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging, age-appropriate soccer activities
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
- Build confidence through positive reinforcement and individualized instruction
- Help children develop teamwork, communication, coordination, and sportsmanship
- Communicate professionally with parents, teachers, and fellow coaches
- Participate in ongoing training while following the Soccer Stars Coaching Curriculum
- Ensure every child leaves class smiling, confident, and excited to come back next week
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to local schools, parks, and community locations throughout Long Island
- Ability to successfully complete a background check
- A passion for working with young children—especially ages 1–5—is essential
