About the Role

As a Mechatronics Technician (m/w/d) in the Flex-Team, you will support our locations in the surrounding area and take on tasks related to maintenance, repair, and diagnostics in the workshop. You will start with structured onboarding in the Flex-Team and be deployed at various ATU locations in the regional area, supporting workshop teams in daily business.

Responsibilities

• Support workshop teams in daily business
• Perform maintenance and inspection work on vehicles of all drive types
• Systematic vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting with modern diagnostic technology
• Repair and service work on mechanical and electronic components
• Prepare vehicles for main and emissions inspections (HU/AU)
• Flexible deployment at ATU locations within a radius of approximately 50-200 km (by agreement)
• 5-day week (Mon-Sat) with early and late shifts in a two-shift system

Requirements

• Completed vocational training
• Completed apprenticeship or journeyman's certificate as a mechatronics technician, commercial vehicle mechatronics technician, automotive mechanic, or comparable
• Several years of practical experience in diagnostics, maintenance, and vehicle repair
• Physically fit (standing and walking up to 8 hours/day)
• Valid driver's license (Class B) in Germany
• Independent organization of routes and travel times
• Willingness for occasional overnight stays away from home
• First German language skills and a valid work and residence permit are welcome
