About the Role

At our Berlin site, employees manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems. As part of the precision manufacturing team, you will support the production of optical components, assemblies, and systems made of glass, glass-ceramics, and ceramics for high-tech small-batch, single-part, and prototype production. You are responsible for the operational execution of the production plan and contribute to the on-time delivery of high-tech products. Working closely with various departments, you will create transparency across production and help maintain a stable and efficient manufacturing flow.

Responsibilities

Execute the production program plan and monitor production progress to ensure delivery commitments are met.
Prioritize manufacturing orders, determine delivery dates, and take corrective actions to maintain schedule adherence.
Escalate and coordinate solutions for conflicts, unexpected disruptions, capacity constraints, and production bottlenecks.
Monitor, prepare, and communicate production status updates and operational KPIs.
Monitor material coverage, support manufacturing-related logistics activities, and coordinate storage locations.
Contribute to SAP, manufacturing, and development projects and support continuous process improvements.
Support inventory activities and contribute to ensuring a stable and efficient production flow.

Requirements

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or a comparable technical field, or have an equivalent qualification combined with relevant professional experience in production control, production planning, or manufacturing organization.
Several years of experience in production control, production planning, or manufacturing organization.
Experience working with planning tools and production scheduling processes.
Solid SAP knowledge, particularly in the PP and MM modules.
Confident using MS Office applications, especially Excel.
Experience in project work and applying Lean Management principles.
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access controlled technology prior to beginning work.
