About the Role
Stantec is seeking an experienced Proposals Team Leader – Transport to support infrastructure and transport opportunities in Australia. This role is instrumental in delivering compelling proposals that showcase technical expertise, innovation, and client commitment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of proposal submissions for transport and infrastructure opportunities across Australia.
- Analyze RFPs and tender documentation to establish compliance requirements, response strategies, and submission plans.
- Develop proposal schedules, compliance matrices, and review processes to ensure high-quality and on-time submissions.
- Partner with technical specialists, project managers, and business leaders to develop compelling, client-focused proposal content.
- Write, review, and refine executive summaries, key proposal responses, and supporting content to strengthen win themes and messaging.
- Coordinate inputs from proposal support resources, designers, and other contributors to ensure seamless proposal delivery.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of CVs, project sheets, case studies, and reusable proposal content.
- Drive continuous improvement through proposal debriefs, lessons learned, content management, and the application of proposal management best practice.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing proposal development within consulting, engineering, professional services, or infrastructure environments.
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary proposals and coordinate numerous stakeholders.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into compelling client-focused submissions.
- Experience leading or coordinating distributed teams and applying structured proposal management methodologies such as APMP.
