About the Role

We are seeking a (Senior) Cloud Engineer with a focus on Azure DevOps & Automation to join our team in Berlin. This role is crucial for managing and optimizing cloud data center infrastructures, implementing scalable and highly available cloud infrastructures for business-critical applications, and driving automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize cloud data center infrastructures in public cloud environments.
  • Plan, implement, and operate scalable and highly available cloud infrastructures for business-critical applications.
  • Implement and further develop CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Manage and administer Azure DevOps, including creating workers.
  • Automate deployments and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and Ansible).
  • Integrate and link various services (e.g., monitoring, vulnerability scanners, AI) and applications (Artifactory, CheckMK, ServiceNow) into automation processes.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous development of our hybrid environment.

Requirements

  • Completed apprenticeship in an IT profession, a completed (technical) university degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience with application integrations in pipelines and automation processes.
  • Experience in managing and operating applications in cloud and hybrid environments, including licensing, security, and compliance.
  • Proficient knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Powershell, and Bash.
  • Knowledge in using DevOps tools and processes, including CI/CD pipelines, JFrog Artifactory, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps.
  • Ability to implement and manage cloud-native applications and microservices architectures.
  • Ability to analyze complex requirements and develop scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with various teams and for presenting technical concepts.
  • High degree of initiative, responsibility, and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented manner.
  • Fluent German language skills at least at C1 level.
