About the Role

The role involves supporting individuals with substance abuse issues, facilitating their access to substitution treatment and support services. It operates at the intersection of social participation assistance and low-threshold addiction counseling, offering opportunities for shaping the role.

Responsibilities

  • Consultation and support regarding psychological, social, and health issues.
  • Promotion of social participation.
  • Outreach and follow-up work in settings such as doctor's offices or our drug consumption room.
  • Organization of group and leisure activities.

Requirements

  • A completed degree in Social Work or a comparable qualification is required.
  • Interest in regular professional exchange and continuous professional development.
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
  • Intercultural consulting competence.
  • Willingness to perform outreach activities to a limited extent, e.g., in correctional facilities or clinics.
  • An accepting and open-minded fundamental attitude.

Salary/Compensations

  • Gross annual salary of 47,000 to 57,500 Euros for a full-time position, depending on individual experience.
