About the Role

The Senior Associate of Corporate Affairs supports the planning and execution of corporate affairs initiatives that advance Amgen's business priorities and corporate reputation in Japan. The role operates in a matrixed environment, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to contribute to corporate communications and therapeutic area Corporate Affairs initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support preparation and on-site logistics for internal and external events.
  • Maintain and regularly update corporate communications assets.
  • Develop communications, newsletters, and other internal communication materials.
  • Manage and update Amgen Japan's digital communications channels.
  • Monitor digital communications performance and provide recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Leverage generative AI and analytics tools to elevate quality and speed of communications.
  • Provide communications and patient advocacy support across therapeutic areas.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and 2 years of Communications and/or Advocacy experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Communications and/or Advocacy experience.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience in corporate communications, public relations or an adjacent field.
  • Experience managing digital communication channels and organizing corporate events.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across multinational teams.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality results.
