About the Role
As a System Accountant, you’ll bridge Finance and Oracle technology, enhancing financial systems, processes, and controls while supporting transformation and BAU activities in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Enhance Oracle ERP & EPM (FCCS, PBCS, TRCS) capability
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting
- Support system implementations, upgrades, and testing
- Document current and future state processes
- Identify and deliver process and control improvements
- Collaborate across Finance, IT, and external vendors to drive outcomes
Requirements
- Proactive, outcome-driven, and able to manage competing priorities
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Collaborative with excellent stakeholder communication
- Comfortable working in agile environments and making pragmatic decisions
- Provide two references
- Full working rights
- Complete police and credit checks
Skills
- Expertise in Oracle ERP & EPM and financial systems
- IFRS17 knowledge
- Strong accounting fundamentals
- Experience in system implementations
- Understanding of testing, data integrations, and controls
- CA qualification
- Life insurance experience
- Agile project delivery
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion, ORMB or OFSAA
