About the Role

As a (Senior) Manager in Technology & Industrials, you will work closely with clients to develop innovative strategies, solve complex commercial and operational challenges, and drive sustainable growth. You will lead end-to-end consulting projects, manage small project teams, and design and implement Sales Excellence programs for national and international clients. By combining strategic thinking with pragmatic execution, you will help clients achieve lasting commercial success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Sales & Commercial Excellence consulting engagements, managing project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement commercial growth strategies, including sales strategies, go-to-market approaches, sales operating models, sales organization design, and commercial transformation initiatives
  • Create profitable growth for clients through AI-based pricing models and end-to-end integration
  • Design and optimize Sales Excellence capabilities, including sales processes, performance management, KPI frameworks, governance and incentive models, as well as key account, channel, and sales coverage concepts
  • Partner with senior client stakeholders, including management and C-level executives, to shape impactful solutions, facilitate workshops, identify growth opportunities across the customer journey, and ensure successful implementation
  • Drive business development and client growth by building trusted relationships, identifying new opportunities, securing project extensions, developing proposals, and contributing to successful project acquisition
  • Advance our Commercial Excellence expertise by leading and developing project teams, mentoring junior colleagues, and contributing thought leadership across commercial strategy, marketing, sales, and pricing

Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
  • At least four years of relevant professional experience in strategy consulting, a specialized boutique, in-house consulting, or a Commercial/Sales Excellence role within an industrial or service organization
  • Hands-on experience across several Commercial Excellence topics, such as Sales Excellence, commercial strategy, go-to-market, sales operating models, sales organization, sales performance management, CRM transformation, key account management, pricing, or sales analytics
  • Successfully led workstreams or projects, managing complex stakeholder environments and collaborating effectively with senior client leaders to deliver measurable business impact
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking combined with a structured, pragmatic, and results-oriented approach, translating insights into actionable solutions
  • Entrepreneurial and client-focused team player with excellent communication and facilitation skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to build trusted relationships across all organizational levels
  • Initial experience in leading, coaching, or mentoring team members and enjoy developing people while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture
  • Fluent in German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
