About the Role
As Chief of Staff, you will be in the leadership orbit, working closely with the CEO to translate high-level vision into actionable outcomes. You will operate at the intersection of growth, hiring, finance, operations, and expansion, taking ownership of critical, ambiguous, and high-stakes projects that require rapid execution. This role offers a unique opportunity to experience and shape a category-defining AI company from the inside.
Responsibilities
- Act as a founder force multiplier, carrying context and making decisions to keep initiatives moving forward without bottlenecks.
- Build and implement operational cadences, processes, and communication loops to enable scalable growth while maintaining speed and efficiency.
- Develop and execute an AI-native approach to automating workflows.
- Design and manage the hiring plan for the next 20 key hires, ensuring the recruitment of top talent.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and key performance indicators to provide clear insights to founders and the board.
- Lead strategic projects such as new market entry, pricing architecture, agent deployment support, and partnership development.
- Own the fundraising process, including data rooms, narrative development, and investor updates.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-intensity environments such as top-tier strategy consulting, investment banking, a fast-paced VC-backed startup, or as a founder.
- Demonstrated ability to bring structure to chaotic situations by building sustainable systems for speed.
- Proficiency in both strategic thinking and financial modeling, including P&L, SaaS metrics, and unit economics.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex AI concepts and financial data into clear narratives for diverse audiences.
- High level of initiative and ability to thrive in ambiguity, proactively identifying and owning problems.
- Daily use of AI tools and a strong perspective on internal operations for an AI company.
- Fluent in English and German (C1+).
- Must be based in Berlin.
