About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and compassionate leader to join our team as a Deputy Care Manager. You will work alongside the Care Manager to lead our home care service, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care while maintaining rigorous CQC compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Care Manager and field care supervisors in delivering outstanding client care
  • Utilize AI tools to review and update daily visit records, care plans, and risk assessments
  • Conduct care consultations and complete comprehensive care plans and risk assessments
  • Ensure rigorous CQC compliance through weekly care visit audits and necessary follow-up actions
  • Maintain audit-compliant care records, medication documentation, and visit logs
  • Support safeguarding initiatives, investigations, and continuous quality improvement
  • Collaborate with scheduling, recruitment, and training teams to ensure service excellence
  • Participate in the on-call rota and provide occasional ad hoc care support

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in adult social care, preferably in domiciliary care
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC standards and best practice
  • Strong IT skills with confidence in digital and AI-based systems
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle
  • Reside within a 60-minute drive of the Wandsworth office
