About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and compassionate leader to join our team as a Deputy Care Manager. You will work alongside the Care Manager to lead our home care service, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care while maintaining rigorous CQC compliance.
Responsibilities
- Support the Care Manager and field care supervisors in delivering outstanding client care
- Utilize AI tools to review and update daily visit records, care plans, and risk assessments
- Conduct care consultations and complete comprehensive care plans and risk assessments
- Ensure rigorous CQC compliance through weekly care visit audits and necessary follow-up actions
- Maintain audit-compliant care records, medication documentation, and visit logs
- Support safeguarding initiatives, investigations, and continuous quality improvement
- Collaborate with scheduling, recruitment, and training teams to ensure service excellence
- Participate in the on-call rota and provide occasional ad hoc care support
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in adult social care, preferably in domiciliary care
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Excellent knowledge of CQC standards and best practice
- Strong IT skills with confidence in digital and AI-based systems
- Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle
- Reside within a 60-minute drive of the Wandsworth office
