About the Role

As a Product Manager in the Backoffice, you will play a crucial role in our Product Management department, working towards achieving our ambitious business goals. Your role will involve owning a product roadmap that drives user engagement, optimizes workflows, and innovates the auctioning lifecycle. You will collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to bring innovations to life across all our internal and seller facing touchpoints.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and manage the product roadmap based on data and customer input
  • Use empathy for customer jobs-to-be-done to identify and develop features that drive product growth and business value
  • Rely on data-driven insights from customer behavior, product usage and commercial performance to prioritize what matters most
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across tech, operations, marketing, lead generation and sales to co-create the product vision and align on direction
  • Clearly and concisely communicate your roadmap priorities and updates to all relevant stakeholders
  • Lead one development team, translating product needs into functional requirements and ensuring high-quality delivery across touchpoints
  • Balance optimizing future product improvements with maintaining the stability and performance of existing platforms

Requirements

  • A Master's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a product management role, leading agile squads to deliver scalable, product-led platform experiences
  • Proven ability to combine strategic vision with practical execution to drive outcomes
  • Propensity to innovate using AI tooling (e.g., Claude)
  • A self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do, you spot opportunities and act on them
  • Strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Experience in a fast-paced digital environment; B2B or B2C, e-commerce or auctioning product experience is a plus
  • A genuine team player who believes the best work happens together through a collaborative leadership style, thriving in empowered, cross-functional teams
  • Growth mindset, embracing change, learning, and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cultures and across the organization, locally, regionally, and at global HQ) and preferably one of our core languages German/Dutch/Swedish
