About the Role
The Assistant JV Girls Volleyball Coach reports to the Director of Athletics and collaborates with the Head JV Girls Volleyball Coach to provide direction to student-athletes, fostering skill development, physical fitness, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the JV Girls Volleyball program
- Develop training schedules
- Ensure adherence to Branson and League policies
- Maintain a safe environment for student-athletes
- Supervise athletes at home and away games
- Enforce training rules, academic requirements, and behavioral standards
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding team operations
- Resolve conflicts in a professional manner
- Manage cleaning, storage, and maintenance of equipment and uniforms
- Maintain inventory
- Complete Paycom timecards punctually
- Maintain required certifications and training hours
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- CPR certification through the American Red Cross
- Ability to travel
- Availability for evening and weekend work
- Involvement in summer league program development
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently
- Ability to stand for long periods and walk long distances
- Ability to work in noisy, crowded environments
