About the Role

The Freshman Girls Volleyball Coach coordinates programming in collaboration with the Head Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach. This role is responsible for providing direction to student-athletes to help them achieve high skill levels while fostering an appreciation for physical fitness, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. This position requires travel, evening/weekend work, and involvement in summer league program development.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the Freshman Girls Volleyball program
  • Develop appropriate training programs and practice schedules
  • Ensure adherence to Branson and League policies
  • Maintain a safe environment for student-athletes at all times
  • Supervise athletes at home and away games
  • Ensure adherence to training rules, academic requirements, and behavioral standards
  • Maintain regular contact with parents regarding team operations
  • Resolve conflicts professionally
  • Manage equipment and uniform inventory, storage, and maintenance
  • Submit budget requests to the Athletic Director for approval
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Complete timecards via Paycom punctually

Requirements

  • CPR Certified through the American Red Cross
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently
  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk long distances, and bend at hips/knees
  • Ability to work in noisy, crowded environments and carry equipment/coolers

Experience Level

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

Salary/Compensations

  • $16.90/hr (Minimum seasonal guarantee of $3,245.00)
