About the Role

The Freshman Girls Volleyball Coach coordinates programming in collaboration with the Head Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach. This role is responsible for providing direction to student-athletes to help them achieve high skill levels while fostering an appreciation for physical fitness, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. This position requires travel, evening/weekend work, and involvement in summer league program development.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise the Freshman Girls Volleyball program
Develop appropriate training programs and practice schedules
Ensure adherence to Branson and League policies
Maintain a safe environment for student-athletes at all times
Supervise athletes at home and away games
Ensure adherence to training rules, academic requirements, and behavioral standards
Maintain regular contact with parents regarding team operations
Resolve conflicts professionally
Manage equipment and uniform inventory, storage, and maintenance
Submit budget requests to the Athletic Director for approval
Maintain accurate records
Complete timecards via Paycom punctually

Requirements

CPR Certified through the American Red Cross
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently
Ability to stand for long periods, walk long distances, and bend at hips/knees
Ability to work in noisy, crowded environments and carry equipment/coolers

Salary/Compensations

$16.90/hr (Minimum seasonal guarantee of $3,245.00)
