About the Role
As an Intelligent Automation Engineer, you will be hands-on in supporting, improving, and expanding the business automation capability across Scape, Aveo, and RTL.co. You will maintain the existing Power Automate and RPA estate, and design and deliver new workflow, RPA, and API-based solutions to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency. You will collaborate with stakeholders to analyze processes, identify automation opportunities, build solutions, and explore emerging tools like Azure Logic Apps, n8n, UiPath, Make, or AI-assisted automation.
Responsibilities
- Own and support the existing automation estate across Power Automate cloud flows and Power Automate Desktop, triaging and resolving failures.
- Design, build, test, and deploy new automation solutions across cloud workflows, RPA, API integrations, and data transformation.
- Partner with stakeholders across Scape, Aveo, and RTL.co to identify automation opportunities and facilitate process discovery sessions.
- Maintain support documentation, governance standards, and a prioritised automation backlog aligned to business value.
- Identify practical opportunities to enhance automations with AI, and evaluate emerging platforms for better fit.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
- 4+ years' experience designing, building, and supporting business automation solutions in production.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate cloud flows.
- Hands-on experience with Power Automate Desktop or another RPA platform.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, connectors, webhooks, authentication, and data transformation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to work with non-technical process owners.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail.
