About the Role

Lead the strategic growth and execution of cash management solutions across the Institutional Property & Health (IPH) segment. This role is pivotal in driving revenue, deepening client relationships, and delivering innovative payment and liquidity solutions to meet evolving client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the national PCM strategy for the IPH segment in Australia, leveraging ANZ’s end-to-end network and new solution developments.
  • Collaborate with domestic and regional stakeholders to align IPH PCM strategies with broader Institutional and Coverage goals.
  • Drive industry and customer-centric solutions and propositions within the Australian market with a focus on cross-sell & New to PCM mandates.
  • Represent the PCM business at the Institutional IPH Coverage Leadership Team and partner with TB Sales leadership to drive customer advocacy.
  • Lead client origination and solution efforts, ensuring PCM’s active participation in IPH Pods, including account planning and review.
  • Monitor and drive pipeline opportunities within the segment to improve revenue growth, deposit growth volumes, NII/Fee realization, and ROE.
  • Engage with product, wholesale digital, and technology teams to deliver solutions aligned with IPH segment customer needs.
  • Champion digital-first and customer-centric approaches to enhance competitiveness.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales business, fostering collaboration, diversity, innovation, and accountability nationally.
  • Uphold ANZ standards in risk and compliance to ensure a well-managed business.
  • Role model and promote ANZ values, New Ways of Leading, and the aspirational culture.

Requirements

  • Extensive transaction banking expertise with strong strategic thinking, including deep knowledge of products, payment technologies, customer needs, and credit/operational risk considerations.
  • Strong understanding of the IPH segment and experience managing large, complex Institutional Banking customers.
  • Proven ability to identify industry trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities, with a focus on innovation and long-term business development.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of leading high-performing teams, coaching talent, and fostering curiosity and development.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across the enterprise.
  • Experience in Transaction Banking sales and/or subject matter expertise in payments and cash management, coupled with the ability to navigate change, ambiguity, and complex business environments.
