About the Role

In this role, you’ll manage and administer the backbone of our technological infrastructure. You'll be the architect of the system, shaping the base definition, structure, and documentation to ensure the long-term success of our business operations.

Responsibilities

• Optimize systems by configuring, installing, and maintaining database management systems.
• Set security protocols by managing user access and implementing policies to protect data.
• Conduct capacity planning and growth projections based on usage to ensure system scalability.
• Coordinate systematic database project plans with various teams to align with organizational goals.
• Propose and implement enhancements to improve system performance and reliability.
• Develop backup and recovery plans to protect the system in case of failure.
• Support end users and application developers in solving complex database system problems.

Requirements

• Microsoft Windows Server 2016 implementation and management
• VMware ESXi experience
• Public/private cloud management, especially migration from on-prem to cloud

Skills

• Automation experience, especially IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)
• Vulnerability management
• On prem AD FS (Active Directory Federation Services) with Microsoft Active Directory (AD), and/or Azure AD
