About the Role
CORPAY is seeking a Product Manager for its North American Trucking division within the US Vehicle Payments line of business. This role operates with the speed and ownership of a startup within a global company, focusing on building products and businesses from the ground up. The ideal candidate is energized by ambiguity, thrives with autonomy, and enjoys defining their own path, driving alignment, and owning execution from concept through launch.
Responsibilities
- Owning outcomes, not just features, ensuring products deliver measurable customer and business value.
- Driving product strategy and execution by identifying opportunities and translating them into actionable roadmaps.
- Leading product development by defining requirements, prioritizing backlogs, and partnering with engineering.
- Serving as the voice of the customer to ensure meaningful problems are solved with intuitive, scalable solutions.
- Shaping the user experience through collaboration with UX and engineering.
- Bringing products to market by partnering with cross-functional teams on positioning and launch strategies.
- Using data to drive decisions and continuously iterate on products.
- Leading through influence to build alignment across various departments and leadership.
- Wearing multiple hats, including writing requirements, reviewing designs, developing marketing content, supporting customer conversations, negotiating partnerships, and solving operational challenges.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of product management experience or equivalent experience leading cross-functional initiatives and bringing products or platforms to market.
- Proven ability to independently lead initiatives from concept through execution, balancing customer needs, business objectives, and technical considerations.
- Strong product instincts with experience identifying customer problems, validating opportunities, and translating them into successful product solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, commercial, operations, and executive teams.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to work effectively with engineers on APIs, integrations, system architecture, and technical trade-offs.
- Experience working in Agile product development environments and collaborating closely with engineering and design teams.
- Comfortable making decisions with imperfect information, adapting quickly as priorities evolve, and maintaining momentum in fast-moving environments.
- Highly organized with exceptional prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong preference for a background with card or virtual payment systems, transportation payments and fuel programs, fleet logistics.
- Experience with credit, risk, or compliance considerations in financial products.
- Comfort using analytics tools and SQL or similar to explore data and validate hypotheses.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams and operating in a high-growth or transformative environment.
