About the Role

As part of KPMG's Audit & Assurance practice, you will deliver high-quality work that supports trust, transparency, and confidence across both public and private organizations. Our Audit practice helps clients manage risk by understanding their business to uncover opportunities for improved efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices and methodologies at client engagements
  • Conduct external and internal financial statement audits
  • Lead field engagement teams, coach, and mentor junior staff
  • Perform analysis of complex accounting issues
  • Perform financial and systems analysis
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Provide a high-value service helping companies assess risk and ensure transparency
  • Monitor complex projects against deadlines and budget
  • Mentor and delegate work to junior staff
  • Use previous experience and technical knowledge to benefit the client
  • Analyze issues using a range of techniques

Requirements

  • 4-year undergraduate degree
  • Successful completion of the CFE or working towards a CPA designation
  • 2-3 years of post-graduate experience with a public accounting firm
  • Experience with reporting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, PCAOB, ASPE)
  • Excellent project management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team
  • Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand clients' businesses and maintain strong relationships
  • Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism
  • Fluency in English is required; French language capability is an asset
