About the Role

Snowflake is seeking AI-native thinkers with a strong background in data science and cloud architecture to join the AI/ML Workload Services team. This role involves creating new offerings and capabilities for customers, helping them expand their use of the Data Cloud for data science pipelines from ideation to deployment. The position is highly technical and hands-on, requiring solution design, customer coordination, and collaboration with Systems Integrators.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical expert on Snowflake for AI/ML workloads.
  • Build and deploy ML pipelines using Snowflake features and partner tools.
  • Develop POCs using SQL, Python, and APIs to demonstrate GenAI and ML implementation techniques on Snowflake.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer to enable customers to extend Snowflake capabilities.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary AI/ML technologies.
  • Collaborate with System Integrator consultants on technical positioning and deployment.
  • Provide guidance on resolving customer-specific technical challenges.
  • Support the development of expertise within the Services Delivery team.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products.
  • Travel up to 25% to work with customers on-site.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role working with customers.
  • Ability to present to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Thorough understanding of the complete Data Science life-cycle.
  • Strong understanding of MLOps, including model deployment and monitoring.
  • Experience with at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with at least one Data Science tool (e.g., Sagemaker, AzureML, Vertex, Dataiku, DataRobot, H2O, Jupyter Notebooks).
  • Experience with Large Language Models, Retrieval, and Agentic frameworks.
  • Hands-on scripting experience with SQL and Python, R, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with libraries such as Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, SciKit-Learn, or similar.
  • University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
