About the Role

Lightspeed Tech Center is an R&D department focused on researching and developing innovative technologies for high-quality games like PUBG Mobile. This role involves researching state-of-the-art machine learning, deep learning, and data mining algorithms to improve core AI serving, analyze user behavior, and enhance user retention.

Responsibilities

• Research state-of-the-art machine learning, deep learning, social-network data mining, and recommendation algorithms with game data.
• Design, evaluate, and improve core algorithms and strategies for online AI serving.
• Perform in-depth statistical analysis on large-scale data to mine user behavior and attributes, and build user portraits.
• Conduct sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and summarization on massive user comments.
• Identify user pain points through massive data and propose strategies to improve user retention.
• Improve data analysis pipelines by combining business requirements and data.
• Develop efficient and reliable data mining solutions using distributed computation platforms.
• Research AI agents for upgrading existing working pipelines.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of statistical models and related machine learning principles.
• Experience working on data mining related projects.
• Familiarity with machine learning, deep learning, and recommendation algorithms (e.g., clustering, classification).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Familiarity with basic data structures and algorithms.
• Strong self-driven ability, team cooperation ability, and anti-pressure ability.
• Studious candidates are preferred.
• Candidates with research experience such as academic publications are preferred.
• Candidates with NLP experience (e.g., sentiment analysis, text summary, LLM fine-tune, AI agents) are preferred.
• Candidates familiar with causal inference or optimization algorithms are preferred.
• Candidates with big data experience and familiarity with distributed computation frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Hive) are preferred.
• Candidates with strong logical thinking ability, communication ability, and business understanding are preferred.
• Familiarity with game situations is preferred.
