Responsibilities
- Lead and ensure execution of VIP Programs in the category.
- Manage SU Programs.
- Serve as the single point of contact for Technology inputs for various teams.
- Act as an extension to the Group Category Technology team, ensuring alignment to the category technology program.
- Feed the definition of product, process, and packaging design requirements for local markets to Group Category for adaptation and approval.
- Drive Capex Management, supporting investment for growth, innovation, and convergence.
- Ensure implementation of long-term capacity plans.
- Establish the Financial Glide Path for given segmented supply chains and drive improvement in ROA.
- Develop and Manage Capex planning and implementation prioritization.
- Lead the implementation and delivery of various capital projects across the site.
- Drive Innovation Excellence / OTIF by leading EPM and supporting EEM/DFM.
- Be responsible for Business case on Innovation plan input for contract and market-ready documents.
- Ensure effective link with R&D, Planning, and factories for innovation, Capacity, and VIP delivery.
- Drive innovation process from Contract gate to commissioning in the cluster for existing technologies.
- Develop local technology standards for unique technologies.
- Drive innovation process of Cluster specific local jewels and non-global brands.
- Be responsible for technical risk assessments to avoid quality issues.
- Ensure investments in driving core design convergence in the cluster.
- Lead EPM.
- Ensure technology harmonization, simplification, and flexible manufacturing.
- Act as a Troubleshooter with respect to product, process, and packaging performance post dry testing.
- Ensure compliance to all local/national/regional regulatory requirements for Product, Process, and Packaging.
- Ensure the highest technology standards and processes are implemented and aligned to global specifications & standards.
Requirements
- Engineering degree educated or equivalent experience.
- Good Knowledge of Process and Technology / Equipment associated with an FMCG company.
- Knowledge and experience in Quality in Innovation for Manufacturing including statistical analysis and process control, supplier assessment and capabilities, risk assessments for raw materials / packing materials / formulations and validation of in –house and co-making operations.
- Able to prepare machine/ process stream specifications and machinery project management networks.
- Good understanding of the materials conversion processes.
