About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing healthcare technology company transforming patient care through Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) solutions. They seek a Senior Backend Software Engineer to help scale their platform, designing, developing, and maintaining secure, high-performance backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable backend services using Python and Django REST Framework.
• Develop and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs.
• Build and support microservices that integrate with third-party platforms.
• Own features from technical design through testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Implement secure coding practices and help ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing production-grade backend applications.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python and Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Strong experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience building scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• Solid experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Lambda, RDS, EC2, and S3.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, performance optimization, and backend best practices.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken).
